Pay more for a longer flight with a landing on a glacier; pay less for a short flight with no landing.

Whistler helicopter flights by minutes in the air

Two companies fly scenic tours from Whistler Heliport: Blackcomb Helicopters and No Limits Heli Adventures. Both fly year-round and carry up to five passengers. Prices are USD per person as listed in September 2026. Price per minute is the listed price divided by the minutes in the air.

The same flights are also sold on Viator, sometimes for a few dollars less: the mountain landing flight at $324, the Sea to Sky glacier landing at $363, the Wedge Mountain flight at $156 and Glaciers and Black Tusk at $233. The longest flight is the cheapest per minute. At 42 minutes in the air, No Limits’ Sea to Sky tour works out at under $9 a minute and adds a glacier landing on top. The short Wedge Mountain flight costs the most per minute but the least overall, which suits a first taste of flying or a tight budget.

Mountain landing, glacier landing or no landing

The Wedge Mountain flight goes the other way, climbing to about 8,000 ft to circle Wedge Mountain, the highest summit in the Garibaldi Range, with Wedgemount Lake and the Wedge Glacier below. Seaplanes over Garibaldi and from Vancouver

Harbour Air flies seaplanes from Green Lake, just north of Whistler Village. Its seaplane tour over Garibaldi Lake and the Black Tusk costs $206 and is rated 4.9 from 243 reviews. The 30 minutes include boarding, taxiing on the lake, the flight and landing, and there is no mountain stop.

From Vancouver, the seaplane day trip to Whistler ($377, 5.0 from 13 reviews) flies you up the coast to Green Lake in about 40 to 45 minutes, shuttles you to the village for a free day of about seven hours, and flies you back. Can you fly from Vancouver on a day trip?

The helicopter tours here all leave from Whistler, not Vancouver. You can pair one with a day trip, by road or by seaplane, as long as you leave time to reach the heliport, about 15 minutes from the village, and arrive 20 minutes before your slot. Private flights, proposals and weddings

The featured flight has a private option for you and up to four others. Viator also lists Blackcomb Helicopters’ private helicopter tour with mountain landing at $1,620, rated 4.9 from 93 reviews. That is the price for the whole helicopter for up to five people, which works out at about $324 each when all five seats are filled. Blackcomb Helicopters also sells heli-wedding packages with a 45-minute landing; the operator’s own CAD rate at the time of writing is $2,415 or $3,235 for up to five. Weather, winter and safety

Every flight depends on the weather, and the pilot makes the call. Blackcomb Helicopters charges nothing for weather cancellations. No Limits reschedules whenever it can and refunds in full if it cannot. Book early in your stay so a cancelled flight can move, and GetYourGuide bookings can also be cancelled free up to 24 hours before.

Both companies fly in winter too. No Limits also runs an Ice Cave Helicopter Tour, about 60 minutes with a guided walk in glacier ice caves, booked directly with the company; ice cave tours usually start at the end of March.

Blackcomb Helicopters’ shared flights need at least two passengers, and its listings are not suited to anyone over 350 lb (159 kg). No Limits sets a 300 lb limit per seat.
