Which Whistler tours include the Sea to Sky Gondola ticket

Every tour below includes the gondola ticket. Prices are USD per person on GetYourGuide as of September 2026, and the times come from each listing.

A gondola in the title does not always mean a ticket in the price. Vancouver Escape Tours’ private Whistler Day Trip with Sea to Sky Gondola Ride lists the ride as self-paid, and the gondola is on the not-included list of BC Grand Tours’ Private Tour to Whistler. Time at the gondola against time in Whistler

The big coach tours give the summit about 90 minutes and the village about three hours. That is enough for the 10-minute ride up, a crossing of the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, the short Panorama Loop and a coffee, with lunch saved for Whistler. Jupiter Legend and Discover Canada Tours allow about two hours at the top, which leaves time for the loop’s far viewpoint, the Chief Overlook, without hurrying. Bearly There Tours trades village time for more stops: Porteau Cove, Shannon Falls, the gondola, Brandywine Falls and Green Lake, with about 90 minutes in Whistler and a guide who speaks English and Spanish. YellowCap’s small-group tour, capped at eight guests, skips Whistler altogether and comes back after five and a half hours. It suits you if the gondola is the point and Whistler is not.

The order changes little about the ride itself. Jupiter Legend, Pacific Coach and Discover Canada stop at Shannon Falls first; Westcoast and Star go to the gondola first and see the falls on the way home. The November closure and the gondola season

The Sea to Sky Gondola runs year-round apart from its annual maintenance closure, which in 2026 runs from 9 to 26 November. It reopens on 27 November, daily from 9am to 5pm through December. Opening hours shorten in autumn: from 13 to 30 October it closes at 4pm on weekdays and 5pm at weekends.

Most gondola tours stop in October. Star Sightseeing runs daily from 1 May to 15 October, Discover Canada Tours from April to October, and Landsea’s gondola tour until 12 October; Pacific Coach carries on to 31 October 2026. Landsea’s winter tour, from 26 October to 31 March, goes to Squamish Canyon and Mamquam Falls in place of the gondola.

Three gondola tours here stay on sale through the winter. Westcoast Sightseeing runs daily all year, Jupiter Legend has dates open every day to 30 April 2027, and Bearly There says it runs all year, though its winter dates are mostly weekdays and none in February 2027 were open at the time of writing. No tour can ride the gondola from 9 to 26 November. Westcoast says what it does instead: a tour of about eight hours with eagle viewing along the Squamish River and no gondola admission. Sea to Sky Gondola or PEAK 2 PEAK

They are two different lifts about an hour apart. The Sea to Sky Gondola is in Squamish, about 45 minutes from Vancouver: a 10-minute ride to a summit 885 m above Howe Sound, with trails, a suspension bridge and a lodge. The PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is in Whistler and links Whistler Mountain with Blackcomb Mountain, spanning 4.4 km and reaching 436 m above the valley floor on an 11-minute crossing. None of the day tours on this page include PEAK 2 PEAK. Whistler Blackcomb sightseeing is closed until winter, when tickets are valid from 20 November 2026 to 18 April 2027, and the operator’s own pre-booked adult rate at the time of writing is CAD 158. Driving yourself: the gondola ticket on its own

If you have a car, the Sea to Sky Gondola admission ticket costs $55 on GetYourGuide, rated 4.8 from 592 reviews, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Viator sells a ticket from $58. The operator’s own CAD rate at the time of writing is CAD 73.95 online and CAD 81.95 at the ticket window, and parking is CAD 10 plus tax for the day.

The base is at 36800 Highway 99 in Squamish. From 1 October to 30 April you need winter tires on Highway 99, so check your rental before you go. Without a car, the Squamish Connector shuttle runs from downtown Vancouver.

At the top

The summit sits 885 m above Howe Sound. The Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge is about 100 m long and is stroller and wheelchair accessible, as are the gondola cabins. There are three viewing platforms: the Summit Lodge deck beside the gondola, the Spirit Viewing Platform with displays on Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation history, and the Chief Overlook, a 10–20 minute walk away on the 1.3 km Panorama Loop.
